Second Lamborghini Sian Arrives On US Soil Looking Sharp

It looks even cooler than the first one.
The year 2020 might not have been a great one, but every cloud has a silver lining: before we greeted the year, the first Lamborghini Sian arrived on US soil, and now a second has made its arrival. The Sian, which is the Italian supercar maker’s first-ever hybrid supercar, was revealed in September 2019 and is powered by Lamborghini's next-generation V12 engine mated to a 48-vol hybrid system and a lithium-ion supercapacitor. The first US car, which was delivered to a Lamborghini dealership in California has now been joined by another, wilder looking sibling at the Lamborghini Broward showroom in Florida.
The first Sian, which was decoratively wrapped, and finished with a festive bow was revealed at the California dealership in a stunning Arancio Atlas paint job along with a plethora of exposed gloss carbon fiber parts, including a carbon rear wing and engine cover. The second car to arrive at the party looks more sinister with an interesting color combo that transitions from matte black to a shade of metallic brown. The same hue can be spotted on the wheels, and the car also sports a full carbon-fiber package. The second car might not be as in-your-face as the first, but let’s be honest, it will be impossible to blend into ordinary traffic in a Sian, no matter the color.
These $3.7-million hypercars are powered by a naturally-aspirated V12 engine, the highest output ever from a Lamborghini powerplant, and combined with the 48-volt e-motor's 34 hp, produces an incredible 819 hp. Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission. The end result? A 0-62 mph time of only 2.8 seconds, and a top speed of over 220 mph. The Sian is a jewel in Lamborghini's crown, and for those interested, there's some bad news; all 63 of these cars have already been snapped up.
